Registrations
Each new player must be registered with the LTNL at least 7 days before the player is eligible to play in the LTNL matches.
This rule also applies to re-registering players from another team within a club. Re-registration within a club requires 4 days’ notice.
All players must be registered with England Netball to be eligible to play, umpire or officiate in any LTNL match.
The minimum age to play in the LTNL adult league is 16 years old. Age Banded players can take part in the League providing they are aged 14 or 15. Registration will NOT be accepted for a player under the age of 14. Please refer to our 'Young Person Guidelines' for players aged under 18.
LIVES:
A club with two or more teams – can use players from a lower team to play in a higher team – and has the opportunity only 3 times per season. When a player has used a life – their name will be highlighted on the registration spreadsheet as follows:
PLAYER OF THE YEAR:
The player of the year is decided from the information provided on the team sheets that are completed for every league fixture. Please ensure you mark a ‘player of the match’ from the opposing team and show the position played against the relevant quarter.
We do not use ‘player of the match’ for cup/plate matches as the player of the match is awarded separately between the 2 teams that appear in the final and this is decided by the committee.
COMPLETION OF THE TEAM SHEETS:
Team sheets need to be completed by each team for every match. Record the names of the starting 7, noting their '1 QRT' starting positions on the form and any substitutes, if players move position during any quarter or don’t play just record the position they have moved to or write ‘off’.
Please ensure that you complete the player of the match and sportsmanship, also confirm the names of your duty umpire and any scorers before sending the completed form to [email protected] before 8pm the same day of your match.
FAILURE TO COMPLETE THE TEAM SHEET CORRECTLY WILL RESULT IN ONE POINT BEING DEDUCTED FROM YOUR TEAM TOTAL POINTS GAINED.
PLAYER REGISTRATIONS:
Keeping track of registrations mid-season is very difficult to manage. Therefore all clubs are requested to follow the following procedure:
